Nurture Their Nature

Unique strategies for parenting unique children.

A parenting mentorship like no other.

Have you ever wished that your children came with an operating manual? It would be incredible to deeply understand how to support them as they transform from impressionable infants to fulfilled adults!

If you are like me, you have read all of the books and spent countless hours researching how to raise children into adults that are happy and confident.

It feels like there is a missing puzzle piece just out of reach.

I have been there.

As the mother of two boys who struggled elementary school, I spent countless hours (and a lot of money!) trying to "fix" them... even though I had a nagging feeling that nothing was actually wrong with my children in the first place.

However, that didn't stop the feelings of frustration and helplessness while trying to figure out what to do to support them.

The more I witnessed the challenges many parents face within the rigid structures of school and society, the more convinced I became that the issue isn't with the children.

I became determined not to let my boys feel they were lacking because they didn't fit into a specific box.

At the beginning of 2020, on my own self-awareness journey, I bumped into a system that helped me deeply understand how my energy naturally works and the strengths and challenges that I embody.

I also realized that while my parents did the best they could while raising me, they also were doing so purely based on their own skill sets and the information available to them when they were raising me and my brother.

The information I discovered not only helped me understand myself as a person, it empowered me as a parent with a much more effective way to relate to my children and give them what they need to feel seen and understood in a way that I wasn't.

It is the operating manual that I so desperately wished for when they were younger!

Over the last 4 years, I have built a mutually respectful relationship with my teenagers that is the complete opposite of what society told me to expect as a parent of teens.

We have close relationships and meaningful conversations.

There is no yelling in our home because there isn't a need for it.

Several times a week I meet people who cringe when I tell them I have two teenage boys and are shocked when I share that the last several years of raising them has actually been much more peaceful than I ever would have anticipated.

I went from being stressed out and feeling guilty as a mother to being confident in how to walk along side these young men as they continue to grow and learn who they are and what they are here to contribute.

Through my Nurture Their Nature mentorship, I look forward to helping parents like you who are ready to do the same.

It is never too early, or too late, to start this process.

In addition to changing my relationship with my children, learning this information has helped me shift my relationship with my own parents, especially my mother.

I went from feeling reactive and defensive, often dreading our interactions, to seeing her regularly and being able to hold my own boundaries where I used to become triggered.

It has become a relationship based on acceptance instead of expectations, and it is much a much more satisfying way to co-exist.

If you are ready to experience healthier relationships with your children (and possibly even your own parents!), I invite you to join me in the Nurture Their Nature mentorship.
